    Currencies and pricing

Choose the currency your menu displays, format prices cleanly, and use option-level price differences for sizes and extras.

    Updated Jul 16, 2026

Your menu displays every price in one currency, chosen on the Profile page — 14 currencies are supported, with USD as the default. Prices themselves live on each item, entered as plain numbers; the menu formats them consistently for guests.

    Set your currency

    1. Open Profile in the sidebar.
    2. Pick your currency from the list: USD, EUR, GBP, ILS, SAR, AED, TRY, CHF, PLN, CZK, SEK, HUF, RON, or BRL.
    3. Save. Every price on your public menu displays in that currency within about 2 minutes.

    Note

Changing the currency changes the symbol and formatting, not the numbers. If you switch from USD to EUR, a dish priced 12.00 stays 12.00 — convert your prices yourself (Bulk Edit makes that fast) before or right after switching. See Bulk edit and CSV import.

    Entering prices

    • Prices are set per item on the Menu page, as plain numbers with up to two decimals (steps of 0.01) — no symbols, no thousands separators.
    • Options can carry price differences: a "Large +3.00" option adjusts the displayed price when guests view the item. Build sizes and add-ons this way instead of duplicating dishes — see Adding and editing menu items.

Pricing a QR menu: what works

A digital menu frees you from print-era constraints — use that:

    • Update prices the moment costs change. There's no reprint, so there's no reason to run months on stale margins. A price save is live in about 2 minutes.
    • Keep formatting uniform. All whole prices or all two-decimal prices — a menu mixing 12, 12.5, and 12.50 reads as careless. Bulk Edit is the fast way to unify.
    • Round numbers read calmer. Many restaurants find 12 or 12.90 friendlier than 11.99-style pricing; whichever style you choose, apply it everywhere.
    • Watch your analytics after a price round. The most-viewed items list tells you whether attention shifted after prices moved — see Understanding your analytics.

    Troubleshooting

    • Prices show the wrong symbol. The currency comes from Profile, not from the price fields — change it there and give the cache about 2 minutes.
    • A price won't save. Prices must be non-negative numbers with at most two decimals — remove symbols, spaces, and comma separators.
    • I need different prices for lunch and dinner. Use option groups ("Lunch portion / Dinner portion") with price differences, or a scheduled promotion announcing the lunch deal — see Promotions and specials.
