    Signing in and keeping your account secure

    Sign in with your email, username, or Google account, reset a forgotten password, and follow simple habits that keep your restaurant's account safe.

    You sign in to your dashboard at app.menuklik.co with your email address or username plus your password, or with your Google account. This article covers every sign-in path, password resets, and the security features working behind the scenes.

    Ways to sign in

    1. Go to app.menuklik.co.
    2. Enter your email address or username and your password, or choose Continue with Google if you created the account with Google.
    3. Complete the quick verification check if asked (it protects your account from automated attacks), and you're in.

    Your username is generated from your restaurant's name when you sign up — you can see it on the Profile page. It's handy when several people know the restaurant's login but the email is long or shared.

    Note

    Apple sign-in isn't available yet. If you see the button greyed out, that's expected — use email/username or Google for now.

    "Remember me"

    The Remember me checkbox on the sign-in form controls how long your session lasts:

    • Checked — you stay signed in on that browser until you sign out.
    • Unchecked — you're signed out automatically when the tab closes. Use this on shared or front-of-house devices.

    Forgot your password?

    1. On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password?
    2. Enter your account email — we send a reset link right away.
    3. Open the link and set a new password.

    There's a short cooldown (about 90 seconds) between reset emails, so give it a moment before requesting again. For your security the form shows the same message whether or not the email exists — so double-check you typed the address you registered with.

    Change your password

    1. Open Settings in the sidebar.
    2. Enter your current password, then your new one.
    3. Complete the verification check and save.

    Pick a password you don't use anywhere else — a password manager makes this painless.

    Security that's already on

    A few protections run automatically, with nothing to configure:

    • Human verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) on sign-in, sign-up, and password forms blocks bots.
    • Generic error messages — the sign-in form never reveals whether an email is registered, which stops attackers from harvesting account emails.
    • Rate limits and lockouts slow down repeated failed attempts.

    Best practices for restaurant teams

    • Don't share your password in chat apps. If staff need to see waiter calls, use the dedicated waiter screen instead — it has its own password and no access to your menu or billing. See The waiter screen.
    • Use "Remember me" only on devices you control.
    • Update the account email if the owner changes — the account email receives password resets and billing receipts, so keep it current.

    Troubleshooting

    • "Invalid credentials" but I'm sure the password is right. Try signing in with your email instead of the username (or the other way around), and check for a stray space. After several failed tries, wait a few minutes — a temporary lockout may be active.
    • I created the account with Google and don't have a password. Keep using Continue with Google with the same Google account.
    • The verification check keeps failing. Refresh the page, disable aggressive content blockers for app.menuklik.co, and try again.
